Doral Impact Windows Pros replaces windows and exterior doors with impact-rated units and installs hurricane shutters for houses, townhomes and condo units in Doral and the surrounding part of Miami-Dade County. That covers impact windows, impact entry doors, impact sliding glass doors, impact French doors, and shutters from accordion and panel systems to roll-down shutters, manual or motorized.

The whole county sits in the Florida Building Code's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so every product we quote has to carry approval for that zone, and every install is done the way the approval document says it must be. We read the approval before we price the job, not after.

How a job runs

• Measure. We visit, measure each opening, note the wall type, and check which rooms need an egress window.
• Price. You get a written estimate that lists each opening, the product, its approval number, removal and disposal, stucco and finish work, and permit costs.
• Paperwork. We prepare the permit package for the City of Doral or whichever building department covers your address. For a condo or an HOA community, we help you put together what the association asks for.
• Install. Old units come out, openings are prepared, new units go in with the fasteners the approval calls for, and each one is sealed.
• Inspect. We call in the required inspections and keep the labels on the glass until the final inspection is passed.

What we do not take on

Commercial storefronts, curtain walls, garage doors, roofing and structural repairs to the wall itself are outside our work. If we open a wall and find rotted wood bucks or damaged concrete, we stop, show you, and price the repair in writing before going further.
